What is included in the MAPA for architecture?

Learn everything step by step you need to know to turn hours of work into minutes when designing with Revit and Twinmotion.

MAPA da EFICIÊNCIA classes are recorded and hosted on the MAPA platform on Hotmart, an integrated platform that allows you to watch classes whenever and wherever you want, on your notebook, app on your tablet and cell phone or even on your smart TV!

MAPA da Eficiência has a dedicated support team across 4 communication channels to answer all your questions. Below each class there is a space for exclusive comments. Additionally, you can ask in the OC Club Community exclusively for students, and someone from our team or a member of the community will help you. You can also ask your questions in your class’s exclusive Whatsapp group and also in emails from Oficina Criativa and Support!

More than just a course, you will have access to the OC Club COMMUNITY on Facebook exclusively for students. The community is a place for you to leave your questions beyond the Hotmart platform, share your results and network. In addition, we provide exclusive content, families and provide consultancy to our students’ queries.

At the end of the course, the template with all the settings will be yours! And you will also have access to the Revit and Twinmotion file with the complete course project.

You will also have access to all the families that our team will develop. Oficina Criativa operates on a system of continuous improvement and our library is constantly growing.

The Efficiency MAP works in a system of continuous improvement. This means that we are constantly developing ways for our students to increasingly transform hours of work into minutes through our method.

You will have access to Template updates, course materials, new classes and creation of new families, all updates during the course access period.

What you will learn:

This is the welcome module, where you will understand how the entire course structure works and how to get the most out of all the content you are about to discover.

After this module you will know what BIM is and the principles of our methodology for designing architecture within Revit. It will be in this module that you will learn about the project that we will develop together during the course and the results that Revit and Twinmotion are capable of providing.

If you have never opened Revit, this module will be where you will do it! Here you will understand how the program’s general interface works and understand the fundamentals
to navigate, select objects and create new views (sections and elevations).

You will see how to navigate between views, make them side by side and make settings such as adjusting the scale.
It will also be in this module that you will have your first contact with the families in Revit (which is what the “blocks” are called around here).

This module is essential for you to gain speed when designing in Revit! We will calmly see all the details of the basic commands: such as copy, rotate, offset, mirror, align, trim/extend elements, divide, delete, scale, pin, unpin.

Here we will also see how to create and modify groups and also how to hide and unhide elements in views.
This knowledge will give you the basis to design quickly and efficiently.

In this module we will give you the tools to make the best decisions and create the concept of your project. Here we will show the best way to carry out the volumetric study together with the solar study.

The time has come to get everything ready for the project to begin!
It will also be in this module that we will model the terrain and establish the setback limits necessary to begin the course project.

Now you are ready to start the course project!

In this module you will learn all the details necessary to model walls in Revit. Let’s start building the course residence together, which is a two-story house with 385 m² designed by Graphitar Arquitetura, made for the client Renato Braga Goulart.

In this module you will understand how to work with levels and will also insert the project frames. Using the MAPA method, you can have any type of frame available to compose your project.

With the walls ready, in this module you will learn the best way to create the finishing slabs and floors. Furthermore, we will show how to coordinate the joints between floors and walls in different situations.

It will be in this module that we will model the plaster ceiling, inserting the necessary details for its construction, such as curtain walls, partitions and corners.

It’s time to train: Training 01!

To absorb a method and become increasingly faster and more efficient, it is necessary to train. In this module, the first training will be available to put into practice what has been seen so far. And you can rest assured that you will have a video with the resolution to check if you did everything right.

In this module you will understand how to insert any type of component in Revit, whether based on the face, floor, levels or ceiling. It will be in this module that we will insert the furniture, hydraulic points, electrical points and lighting of the project.

Oficina Criativa’s intelligent electrical system!

You will see how simple it is to insert sockets and switches and adjust the number and composition of the keys within just a few clicks.

At this point you will begin to master the constructive elements of the program. And now it’s important to start mastering the necessary notes for what has already been produced.

You will learn how to dimension, place rooms, identify construction elements, insert slope arrows and symbols.

It will be in this module that you will learn how to create color schematic plans with captions to show in your project presentations.

Training 02 with resolution.

Now that you know how to take the main notes, it’s time to practice all of this in the second training session with course resolution.

Now it is important to understand how materials work in Revit, as they will be applied to all elements of your project.

You’ll see how to configure project materials for all graphic styles: hidden line, consistent colors, shadow, and realistic. Additionally, we will see how to divide wall faces and apply paint.

Get up to speed with Material Libraries!

You will learn how to have fully configured materials within just a few clicks. In addition to having the Material Libraries created by Oficina Criativa at your disposal, you will learn how to create your own libraries.

Here we start using Twinmotion to visualize what we have already done in Revit. In this module we will see the program’s user interface and its navigation, as well as how to apply library materials. In this module you will learn how to export your Revit model and import it into Twinmotion and how to update and reload the model. After that, how to save the Twinmotion file.

The time has come for you to deepen your knowledge and learn how to create new types of walls, floors and ceilings.

You will know how to configure each of the layers of these construction elements so that they later measure correctly and have the desired graphic appearance.

You will have the freedom to create the necessary construction elements for your project!

In this module you will see how to model different types of stairs in Revit: linear, L-shaped, U-shaped and spiral.

We will show you the details to configure your levels, including if they are fan-shaped. You will learn how to create new types of stairs and make your notes automatically.

A Oficina Criativa and its creators

Pleasure, we are Marcos Tadeu Pretto and Jessica Cisotto Busnello, the founders of Oficina Criativa. We are architects and urban planners trained at the Federal University of Pelotas in Brazil and part of our degree at the Technical University of Lisbon in Portugal. We love designing, technology, innovation and passing on our knowledge.

Approximately 10 years ago, we had the idea of creating a way to share the BIM knowledge acquired on the other side of the Atlantic. As soon as we started, we discovered that a strong idea combined with the right method allows people to evolve and be able to coordinate new tools and the BIM system.

Between 2013 and the beginning of 2020 we had the honor of passing on our knowledge to 52 face-to-face classes and discovered that being responsible for the evolution of so many people is the fuel that moves us! And that’s what Oficina Criativa is all about, transformation.

When we reached the mark of 50 classes in January 2020 here in Pelotas, we decided that it was time to fulfill this old dream of going online with the same quality and teaching as in-person classes. Since then, we have dedicated ourselves to producing the best of our content on Revit and Twinmotion for interiors for all those who seek to transform hours of work into minutes, through our method.
